Just a quick hello from the Windy City. Ella is having a ball playing with Abby's toys... not so much playing with Abby. They are both so tired, so they just kind of chill. But Ella seems to have learned to share somewhere along the way. Instead of ripping toys out of Abby's hands, she keeps offering things for Abby toys to play with, which is pretty remarkable to me for a one-year-old. But then it has been a while since Child Development class, so I'll have to consult with Laura about that. Anyway, we are having a great time and will drive home tonight in hopes that Ella will sleep the whole way home. She slept the whole way here and proceeded to freak out when we put her to bed. So .... I spent the first night trying to sleep as she clung to me like a monkey and poor Scott slept on the couch. Last night, no sleep problems and she went down and got up like clockwork. That's my girl.
