A day at the salon

Ella and I needed a diversion, so we decided to take a morning trip to the salon where Grandma A. works.  My little diva had her first mini-manicure, mini-pedicure and professional haircut.  The haircut was a surprise... when I mentioned it to her last night, she said, "I don't think so, Mommy".   Once she was feeling more comfortable, though, she was fine and seemed to like the pampering.

These pictures are backwards.  For some reason, our Mac and the blog (any of my previously used picture apps, for that matter) do not like to cooperate with each other (if anyone knows how to make them play nicely, please let me know!).  So you will see Ella at home after the haircut, sitting with Grandma after the haircut, getting started with the cut on Mommy's lap (yup, Benjamin and all!), watching Grandma do her nails and at home heading out the door after our final wardrobe change of the morning.
