Yesterday, some friends of ours generously gave Ella a toy Dirt Devil vacuum that their kids no longer were using. She is afraid of our big vacuum, but quickly took to hers. Today, before her nap, she was pushing it around the living room, talking to herself about dirt, mess, and cleaning. It was so cute. I told her it was time for a nap and she said, "No, no, Ella vacuum! Mess!" She even makes sure to vacuum under the couch and loveseat.
