Hand-me-downs

Hand-me-downs rock. A friend of Scott's has a 4-ish year-old daughter and they just gave us FIVE huge bags of girl clothes from 18 months to 3T. We basically do not have to buy Ella clothes (other than to fill in a few things) for 2 years. Ella is very excited, ("Ooooh, pretty clothes!), and helped me sift through the first 2 bags to get the 18 month things out and ready. After breakfast, we get to try out the several pair of shoes... including red glitter-covered Mary Janes. I am SO in heaven! This family also had a co-sleeper that we may purchase, which is a blessing. They are so expensive and we'll probably only get to use it for a month or so because our room gets so hot in the summer. AND this family has a little boy who is a few months younger than Ella, so if we have a boy next, we've got boy clothes coming at us from every angle.

So, for those of you with boys expecting a baby next spring.... you may have a slew of girl clothes waiting for you!
